A tree has fallen into the road blocking a junction in Ashford.

It is stretched across the eastbound carriageway of Canterbury Road before the traffic light junction for Simone Weil Avenue.

Its branches touch the opposite side of the road and police are diverting cars around it.

It is causing minor delays for motorists in Kennington.

Kent Police has been approached for comment.
