A train line, which was blocked due to a fallen tree, is now open.

The route from Maidstone towards Ashford was out of action following reports of a tree on the track at Lenham.

The line from Ashford towards Maidstone was unaffected and remained open.

Southeastern bosses have confirmed Network Rail response staff have removed the tree and trains can now run normally.
