A group of four people were taken to hospital this morning (Saturday) after their car overturned on the way to Hamstreet.
A vehicle carrying two women and two children came off the road on the Ashford to Hamstreet Road, near the Homelands golf course.
Two fire engines from Ashford were first on the scene, after receiving the call at around 8am this morning.
Lesley Vassallo, 57, who lives in nearby Bromley Green Road, had been shopping at Tesco in Park Farm with her husband Paul when they drove past at around 8.30am.
She said: “We saw the police, fire engines, ambulances, and as we came round the bend the fireman stopped us.
“Then I saw the car overturned in the field. I only saw a bit of it as fire engine was in the way, but it looked horrible. I really hope everyone was OK.”
Crews administered first aid to the group, before the arrival of two police cars and two ambulances, and worked for around one hour to make the scene safe.
The group were taken by ambulance to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.
