Three fire engines were called out to a Christmas Day house fire.
Fire crews attended the call out to Brenchley Close, Ashford, just before 1.30pm yesterday.
One person thought to have breathed in smoke was treated by the ambulance service after the blaze started in a bedroom on the residential street.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus put the fire out.
The fire service’s Volunteer Response Team also attended to provide support to affected residents.
No other injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is not yet known.
