Firefighters tackled a blaze at an abandoned nightclub, the second in less than eighteen months at the derelict location.
Nine engines were called to the incident, which started when a tree caught fire and spread to the exterior of a former mill building in East Hill, Ashford.
Using main jets and additional water supply from hydrants as well as a height vehicle, they extinguished the flames.
There were no reported injuries, and the cause is not yet known.
The site has since fallen into more serious dereliction and has faced multiple attacked of vandalism and trespassing over the years.
Last September crews were called to a fire inside the former Liquid nightspot and in May 2023, yobs destroyed the bridge at the site leaving owners, Oliver Davis Homes, with no choice but to fence it off.
After Ashford School sold the site to the developer in 2021, Oliver Davis submitted an application for it to be converted into 53 flats. However, in December it was confirmed these plans have been scrapped, as the developer has had more interest from commercial tenants than residential.
