Teams of firefighters worked to extinguish a blaze which broke out in an Ashford house this morning.
Two appliances, one from Ashford and another from Folkestone, attended the scene at 8.24 am.
A hose reel was used to extinguish the fire, which broke out in a upper floor bedroom of a two-storey house in Essella Road.
Crews used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the property.
The blaze was brought under control at around 8.45am, but one team still remains at the scene to make the area safe.
Police were also in attendance. There were no reported casualties.
