Firefighters were called to help carry a 36-stone man out of his home for hospital treatment.
Eight firefighters and ambulance crew members were needed to take him out on a reinforced stretcher.
A spokesman for Ashford Fire Station said: "We had to help a large gentleman who was bedridden."
One crew from the station was called out to Church Lane, Shadoxhurst, at 11pm last night.
The elderly patient was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in an ambulance, which also had a heavy duty stretcher.
It comes just days after a 30-stone man was helped by firefighters to get to a Dartford hospital.
