A woman had to be cut free from a car after a road crash.

The accident happened at Faversham Road, Kennington, near The Towers School on Friday.

According to police it involved a collision between a Renault Clio and Ford Transit soon after 8am.

Police say the woman car driver complained of back and neck pain and Kent Fire and Rescue Service cut her out as a precaution.

The road was closed during the incident.
