Eight ambulance crew rescued a woman after a dramatic cliff fall.
The 42-year-old suffered a suspected broken ankle when she took a tumble at The Warren in Folkestone yesterday.
A spokesman for SECAmb (South East Coast Ambulance Service) said: “It
is believed that the woman was walking down a rocky path when she
slipped.”
Paramedics was called just before 11.40am by other walkers who
witnessed the accident.
It is believed that she fell several feet and ended up about 100ft
from the bottom.
SECAmb sent an ambulance and paramedic car plus two 4x4s from the HART
(Hazardous Area Response Team), which specialises in rescues in areas
of normally inaccessible land.
The woman was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.
