Firefighters are tackling a huge fire which has broken out in a field of cut corn.
Twelve fire engines have been at the scene of the blaze in Hamstreet Road, Shadoxhurst, near Ashford, since about 5pm.
A fire service spokesman said: "Twelve fire engines and a bulk water carrier are on scene working to put the fire out.
"There are no reported injuries and the cause is not yet known."
A number of eyewitnesses contacted the fire service after spotting the blaze, which has sent smoke high into the air.
The fire service has thanked everyone who called 999 to report the incident.
