Firefighters tackled a huge blaze in a 50-tonne mound of manure in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency crews were called to the scene around 1.30am after reports the fertiliser pile had set alight.
A spokesman for the service said he believes the fire is a result of spontaneous combustion possibly caused by the recent hot weather.
One pump was sent to the scene and firefighters spent three hours extinguishing the blaze.
No one was injured.
