Flip Out, the UK’s biggest and most popular trampolining brand, will open the doors to its new Ashford centre on Saturday 8 July.
Nearly £1.5 million has been invested by Ashford entrepreneurs Lisa and Steve Wootton to transform a former packaging factory on the Henwood Industrial Estate into an exciting new venture in town.
Overall, the project has created around 60 jobs, with a recruitment policy aimed to employ as many local people as possible for the roles.
Steve Wootton said: “We have taken an empty shell of a building and turned it into a fabulous trampolining arena that has to be seen to be believed.
“In the months running up to the opening, we have attracted thousands of followers on social media eager to be a part of what we have created here. I thank them for their patience and look forward to welcoming them all to share in the fun.
“Our aim is simple – we want to give visitors a fantastic experience that will get them coming back for more and our talented and dedicated staff will be key to making that happen.
"We are delighted to launch the Flip Out revolution in Ashford this summer!”
The Ashford centre is set to be one of the biggest trampoline parks in the South East and follows the style of Flip Out arenas with an inky black ceiling and walls; decorated with cool urban art and graffiti; roving spotlights, Resident DJ's and a sound system fit for any nightclub.
It features dozens of connected trampolines for people to spring, trick or flip off the walls, as well as stunt boxes, wall runners, slam dunks, dodgeball, an obstacle course, a free running course and plenty of other surprises.
A spacious café is located on the first floor alongside four rooms for private celebrations, with party packages available for children and adults.
There will also be fitness classes held at the arena.
Flip Fit, for ages 15 and over, provides an enjoyable way to boost energy, tone and strengthen, and burn up to 1,000 calories per session.
It helps to increase flexibility and balance with a blend of exercises from trampolining and gymnastics, all led by a trained instructor.
