The flumes at the Stour Centre pool in Ashford will remain shut this weekend after a delay in repairs.

Both have been out of action since September 26 and it was hoped they could be fixed this week.

But there has been a hold-up in delivery of supplies for repairs so they are expected to be shut until at least next Monday.

Marketing manager Steve Fish said: "Unfortunately there has been a delay in delivering new parts. The parts come from the same company so it is expected to take the same amount of time."

The blue flume at the Tannery Lane sports centre had a pump failure and the red one an electrical fault.
