Neil Cugley believes Folkestone Invicta supporters are enjoying watching his new-look young side.
The departures of Darren Marsden, Stuart King and James Everitt have given youngsters like Johan Ter Horst, Phil Stevenson and Nat Blanks their chance and all have impressed the Cheriton Road boss.
Cugley (pictured) attended last week’s meeting of fans and shareholders, called to outline the club’s improving financial position and believes there is a feel-good factor spreading around the club.
He said: "I think people are as chuffed as anything about what we are doing.
"They like the style of football we are playing and the effort the players are putting in.
"They are giving so much for the club and we look an energetic, fit young side."
Chief executive Mark Jenner told the meeting he hopes the club will have no "pressing" debts by the end of this season, while continuing to pay off the Creditors Voluntary Agreement they entered into two years ago, which kept the club afloat.
Mr Jenner also revealed the club will receive another £1,000 from Maidstone for Stuart King if the County Town club win promotion at the end of the season. He moved for an initial £6,000 fee.
Invicta drew 0-0 at home to play-off rivals Sittingbourne on Wednesday and travel to Worthing on Saturday.
