Manager Neil Cugley is hoping a fit Jimmy Dryden can provide a goalscoring impetus to Folkestone’s forward line.
Invicta have not scored more than twice in any of their Ryman League fixtures this season and a lack of goals is hampering their hopes of Premier Division survival.
Dryden netted his first of the season last week and Cugley is backing the forward to have an impact as Folkestone approach their final 12 games.
They host Canvey Island on Saturday, a team who beat them 1-0 earlier in the campaign.
Cugley said: "Most games have been like that this season and we just need a little luck. Jimmy Dryden is back and is a lot fitter and he might help to kick us on.
"When he is fit and strong he is a good player. There aren’t many forwards around and, without having the finances we can’t bring any in.
"Goalscoring has been our biggest problem. The goals against column isn’t that bad considering our position, but I would like us to create and score more – but that’s where finances come into it."
Robbie Kember (thigh) comes back into the weekend squad but Roland Edge is suspended.
