Folkestone manager Neil Cugley has bolstered his squad ahead of the end-of-season run-in.
Two 1-0 victories have put Invicta right back in the Ryman League, Division 1 South play-off mix and Cugley doesn’t want to see their hopes crumble due to a player shortage.
Defender Lee Gledhill has returned to the club after leaving Maidstone, while Cugley (pictured) has agreed deals for players from Dartford and Tonbridge Angels respectively.
It will mean he has at least one new face in the side ahead of the home game against Crawley Down on Saturday.
Cugley said: "We’ve got four games left and we definitely need two wins to have a fair chance of getting through.
"Roland Edge has left the club, Josh Vincent is on crutches and we have two suspended. When you think we only have a squad of 13, it’s going to cause problems.
"It’s disappointing, but we get on with it. It is a bit of a strange weekend to go into where we haven’t sorted out the side yet."
A derby at Hythe on Monday follows the Crawley game. Top scorer Stuart King is sidelined due to suspension and Vincent is nursing a foot injury picked up at work.
Captain Micheal Everitt begins a two-game ban for picking up 10 bookings and Simon Austin – who has left for Herne Bay – has joined Edge in departing the club.
