Neil Cugley has vowed to ring the changes as his newly-promoted Folkestone side flounder in the Ryman League, Premier Division drop-zone.
However, the Invicta manager says he is unlikely to be able to act before Saturday’s trip to in-form Cray and it could be the end of the month before he is able to partner any new recruits with his key players returning from injury.
Invicta lie just a place and two points ahead of bottom side Maidstone after they lost 4-0 at AFC Hornchurch on Tuesday.
Cugley (pictured) said he was angry at the manner of the defeat and added: "I’ve got some decisions to make. We’ve got to change things around, otherwise a long season is going to become a very long season."
Olly Bartrum and Jimmy Dryden could be back from injury within a fortnight while Rob Kember and Paul Jones could return a week earlier.
Cugley added: "Ideally I’d like to get someone in by this weekend but it may be that we have to go there with no expectations. Cray are a good side and it will be difficult."
