Neil Cugley will leave it until the last possible moment before picking his Folkestone Invicta team to face Suffolk side Leiston in the FA Cup second qualifying round at Cheriton Road on Saturday.
He hopes that striker Paul Jones reports fit after a groin injury but says his chances are only "50-50" and admits if he doesn’t make it, the team could pick itself.
Midfielder Robbie Kember is missing with a thigh injury, while striker Jimmy Dryden faces another two months out with knee problems.
Cugley said: "Paul is so important to us. I will give him every chance of making it and won’t name the team until about 2pm.
"We knew injuries might affect us at some stage but it’s frustrating it’s happened so early in the season."
Ridgeons Eastern Counties Premier League outfit Leiston reached the first round proper two seasons ago and Cugley admitted: "We all thought it was a great draw at first and then found out a little bit more about them. I think they have won 10 games in a row, scored lots of goals and are on a roll."
Any FA Cup replay will take place at Leiston on Tuesday night (kick-off 7.45pm).
