A community is rallying around a "lovely and brave" 11-year-old after he was diagnosed with a rare cancer.
Ashford schoolboy Kenzie Tippett is facing a health fight after doctors discovered a lymphoma in his neck.
The Singleton boy and his family are awaiting more news on the diagnosis, and friends and colleagues are rallying to support them.
The John Wallis Acadamy pupil is a keen footballer and Man City fan, and currently plays for Bromley Green FC's under-12s.
Charlotte Houghton, whose husband Daniel is Kenzie's coach at the club, set up a fundraiser to help pay for unexpected costs for the family.
"He is a lovely young guy, and we're really keen to help him and his family in any way we can," she explained.
"The diagnosis only came in two weeks ago so there are more details to come, and in the meantime we want to support them with whatever might come.
"Everyone has come together to do what they can to help"
"He's a brilliant football player and he's absolutely footie-mad – apparently the first thing he asked when he recieved the diagnosis was 'will I still be able to play football?'.
"There are always unexpected things that can come around in terms of costs, or something that they could put money towards to make things that bit easier.
"At the end of the day, we also want the whole family to know that we are there for them."
The gofundme campaign has reached just over £1,600 in less than two weeks, while a charity match between Bromley Green's coaches and parents that was held this week raised a further £300. To donate to the fundraiser, click here.
Mrs Houghton said the reaction to the campaign has been "amazing".

"It is quite emotional to see how everyone has come together to do what they can to help, especially in times like these," she added.
"It says a lot about the community, and about what an impression Kenzie leaves on everyone. It's fantastic."
A second charity match, between Bromely Green Coaches and Kennington FC's Coaches, will be held at the Julie Rose Stadium on December 18, at midday.
