The Sunglen Naturist Club provided camping space and other amenities for naturists in Bethersden, who prefer to live a life of 'social nudity'.

Such groups were once referred to as 'nudist colonies', but the term is not used now due to its negative connotations.

Spanning three acres, the site has several buildings that are now in a considerable state of disrepair.

It also includes a stream and three ponds, as well as a disused swimming pool.

The patch of land in Lamberden Wood lies just off Wissenden Lane, close to Bethersden School.

It is up for online auction on Clive Emson for a guide price of £90,000 to £100,000.

Potential buyers are welcome to view the site by themselves during daylight hours – but are warned to be mindful of barbed wire and other hazards.
