Forty new members of staff have been employed at Ashford's new Aldi supermarket which is set to open next month.
The 18,500 sq ft discount store in Victoria Road is scheduled to throw open its doors on Thursday August, 2.
It will sit next to the new £1.7 million Chapel Down brewery, close to the Ashford International train station.
Mark Banks, from Rye, has worked for the company for 14 years and will take on the role as store manager at the new branch.
He said: "We have put together a brilliant team to help run the new store and I am confident that we can provide an excellent shopping experience for customers.
"A new store opening is always exciting and we look forward to meet the shoppers next month."
The Aldi store, which will feature 93 parking spaces, will open from 8am to 10pm Monday to Saturday.
On Sundays, the supermarket will open from 10am to 4pm.
