Drivers experienced long delays this afternoon following a crash involving several vehicles.
The M20 London-bound was closed for more than two hours after the collision, which involved a car and a lorry.
The accident happened at about 11.50am, between Junction 9 for Ashford and Junction 8 for Maidstone.
National Highways told motorists to expect up to 30 minute delays, with around four miles of congestion.

A spokesman from the police said: “Officers were called to a report of a collision involving a car and a lorry.
“We are at the scene along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and a road closure is in place while the vehicles are recovered. No serious injuries have been reported.”
As of 2.27pm all lanes have reopened, however there is still 1.5 miles of congestion on approach.
The ambulance service has been asked for more information.
