French driver fined on M20 near Ashford for speeding at 107mph

A French car has been slapped with an on the spot fine of £500 after bolting down the M20 at 107mph today.

Kent Police pulled the driver over near Ashford and the three-figure sum was paid there and then.

Kent Police RPU tweeted a picture and a subsequent warning.

It said: "French car dealt with for 107mph M20 at Ashford.

"£500 on the spot fine issued and paid."
