The future of a popular trampoline park in Kent has been revealed after its sister site suddenly shut for good earlier this month.
Ashford Flip Out bosses today announced their Henwood Industrial Estate site will remain open for business following concerns it may cease trading.
It comes after the leisure firm’s Chatham Dockside site closed on February, with bosses announcing the decision was made “with a heavy heart” while thanking customers and staff.
The £1m park opened in November 2016 with owner Mark McGill announcing he had teamed up with the Kent Sports Trust Foundation to offer sessions to primary schools.
But the closure left customers stunned and upset, with many saying it was a huge shame for their children who had grown fond of the park.
The announcement meant only Ashford’s complex emained in the county, prompting concerns the site may also be axed.
But it has now been confirmed the complex, which opened in 2017, will not be closing any time soon having recently seen the introduction of lazer tag.
A new inflatable arena complete with a slide, obstacle run and other equipment has also been built.
Richard Beese, co-owner of Flip Out, said: "Laser quest is such a fabulous addition and has proved really popular with visitors alongside the new inflatables and slides.
“Our customers have said the changes since their last visit are for the better.
"We are so pleased that our investment has paid off and we will continue to listen to what our customers would like to see at this fabulous park."
