Girl hit by car in High Halden, Ashford, taken to hospital

A girl has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car this morning.

Emergency services were called to the A28 Ashford Road in High Halden, Ashford at 8am.

The girl was assessed and treated at the scene before being taken to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.

Police officers assisted with traffic management while the incident was responded to.

The road was clear by 8.30am.

The pedestrian’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
