An Ashford grandmother is appealing for information after she was targeted by mindless vandals who splashed paint all over her car.
The woman, who asked not to be named, said the yobs must have struck in the early hours of Saturday.
When she woke at her home in Crownfield Road, South Ashford, and saw her paint-splattered Ford Mondeo she said she couldn’t believe her eyes.
She said: “It was really shocking. I’ve lived in this area for 19 years and as far as I know I don’t have any enemies.
“These mindless vandals must have stolen a tub of paint from my outdoor gas cupboard, put it next to my car and stamped on the lid. It went all over and you can see where they just ran off because there are painted footprints going up the road.
“I’m so cheesed off and quite upset about the situation because it’s so pointless and mindless.
“I get on with all my neighbours and I hate the thought of it happening to someone else.
“Someone somewhere must know something so I really just want anyone who knows something to tell the police.”
Police confirmed they received a report of criminal damage between 10pm last Friday and 8.20am on Saturday.
A spokesman said: “It was reported that a car and driveway had been damaged by paint.”
