Thieves who stole two puppies from a victim's home while pretending to be potential buyers have triggered a police appeal for witnesses.
The duo were viewing the chihuahuas due to be sold at a home in Greenside, High Halden on December 19, when they fled with the animals just before 4pm.
Police would like to speak to these men and ask the public to keep an eye out for the 1-month-old black and tan and Wolf Sable chihuahuas.
A Kent Police spokesman said: "The theft happened after two people visited a property to look at the dogs, which were up for sale.
"During the viewing the puppies were taken outside before reportedly being stolen."
The suspects made off in a silver car although the model and direction it headed in are unclear.
The spokesman urged anyone who is offered the puppies to speak with police.
He added: "Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the theft or who has since been offered the dogs for sale to contact Kent Police immediately so they can be reunited with their rightful owner."
Anyone with information should call 01843 222289 or Kent Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 quoting reference number ZY/62828/17.
