Homes are without water in a Kent town after a "burst", said South East Water.
The firm issued an apology via Twitter at 1.20pm telling Ashford customers the problem will be fixed as soon as possible.
It is unclear how many homes have been affected or where the "burst" occurred or what it relates to at the time of writing.
"Some of you may have no water in Ashford Kent.
"We're really sorry about this and rest assured we're working hard to fix the burst now," the tweet says.
South East Water’s distribution manager Mark Rice said: “One of our underground pipes was damaged during construction work this afternoon on the industrial estate in Brunswick Road,
Ashford.
“Our repair crew are on site and will work as quickly as possible to fix the broken water main.
“We do not believe any of our customers are currently without water.
However, we may have to shut a very small section of our network later this evening to complete the repair, so there may be a short interruption to supplies or low pressure.
"We will try to do this part of the work outside of peak demand times to keep disruption to a minimum.
