Drivers were warned to be careful this morning after reports of three horses running loose in Ashford.

The animals were seen on the A20 Fourgeres Way between Maidstone Road and the M20, near John Lewis.

Police said they had got loose and officers manager to get them back in to a nearby field.

The road is now clear, and traffic is coping well.

Police are making enquiries to establish who owns the horses.
