Scott Porter could face another FA rap after being ordered from the dug-out in Tuesday night’s 1-1 draw against Maidstone United at the Gallagher Stadium.
He served a two-game touchline ban earlier this season and the club are waiting for referee Nick Dunn’s report about the incident.
Porter (pictured) had already been dismissed for earlier comments, when Maidstone striker Paul Booth converted a penalty first four minutes before half-time, after Nick Reeves was adjudged to have handled in the box.
Hythe claimed a point thanks to Brendon Cass’ 73rd minute equaliser, punishing Ian Draycott’s poor back-pass.
Porter said: "I am not going to say anything out of turn but I don’t think the three officials were strong enough. It’s my own point of view and I felt a lot of decisions didn’t go our way.
"The boy (Reeves) has got a mark underneath his arm for the penalty but he (the referee) couldn’t wait to give it. I said something which wasn’t out of turn, considering the language and what goes on with referees around the country at this standard and above and I think he wanted to be the main person.
"The referees have got to take in the emotions in the game into account. It’s a local derby and everyone is passionate about the game.
"If you had an older official out there, he would say ‘calm it down, take your first warning’ but being sent from the dug-out after 20 minutes is something I have never experienced before."
Porter was happy with the point, on the back of the 5-2 home win against Tooting on Saturday.
He added: "We have got to take this momentum onto Corinthian Casuals on
Saturday."
