An inquest has been opened into the death of tragic Ashford teenager Jaydon McFarlane.
The 19-year-old was stabbed to death in Brookfield Road on Saturday.
Police and ambulance services rushed to the scene, where Jaydon was found with wounds in his back.
He was tragically declared dead at the scene.
At the inquest in Archbishop's Palace, Maidstone today, Assistant Coroner Joanne Andrews gave his cause of death as a knife wound to the back of the chest.
The inquest was opened and then immediately suspended, pending the murder charges against his alleged killers.
A 17-year-old from Ashford has been charged with murder, while another 17-year-old has been charged with assisting an offender.
Both appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, and have been remanded in custody until a plea hearing on Tuesday April 14.
Due to their age, the pair have not been named.
Two men aged 24 and 19 were also arrested last weekend in connection with the incident, and have both been bailed until Monday, March 23 and Tuesday, April 7 respectively.
Police are continuing to appeal for information, and want to hear from anyone who was in the area of Brookfield Road, near Clockhouse shortly before or after 12.27pm on Saturday.
Motorists or cyclists are also asked to submit their dashcam footage.
