Small businesses can pick up tips from TV personality and hospitality expert Alex Polizzi at a workshop.

The star of Hotel Inspector will launch the Night School in Ashford’s PopUp shop in Park Mall.

She will give a talk on the Seven Deadly Sins of Small Business, followed by a Q&A on Tuesday, November 26.

There will also be talks on brand building from Vistaprint and on effective use of PR from PopUp Britain.

Alex said: “One of the biggest mistakes I see small businesses make is lethargy – sitting and waiting for customers to come to them.

“Seek out advice and find mentors. There are people who have been where you are and are very often willing to offer advice and tips.”
