A Kent shopping centre is getting ready to welcome its newest store - JD Sports.

The sports-fashion company has spent weeks transforming the empty unit and County Square in Ashford, which will finally be ready to open its doors to the public tomorrow.

It was revealed earlier this year that JD Sports would be moving into the town’s main shopping centre in the unit that was previously home to Mothercare before it closed in March, having been there for more than 40 years.

The company already has Kent stores in Maidstone, Canterbury and Bluewater.
