Police are hunting a knife-wielding mugger who robbed a man in broad daylight.

He stole a wallet from a 20-year-old at Victoria Road, Ashford, at about 4pm last Friday.

The victim had been at the end of the street near the entrance road to a depot when he was approached by the robber with a knife who demanded cash.

He handed over his wallet and the offender ran off.

Officers are now looking for a man described as white, about 5ft 10, of skinny build and wearing a light blue hooded top and dirty white tracksuit bottoms.
