Large emergency presence at Holiday Inn hotel in Kennington, Ashford

Several emergency vehicles were called to a hotel following a medical incident.

Ambulance crews and police were spotted at the Holiday Inn in Kennington, Ashford, this morning.

Photos show police and paramedics in the site's car park off A28 Canterbury Road.

A witness reported seeing two ambulances and police cars leaving the site just after 9.30am, with one of each remaining outside the hotel.

Details of the medical incident are not yet known, but emergency crews were seen heading in the direction of the William Harvey Hospital.

The ambulance service has been approached for comment.
