Emergency services have been pictured at a ring road.

Ambulance crews as well as police are currently at Somerset Road in Ashford.

Paramedics appear to be helping someone who is on the ground, in the middle of the road.

The route leading towards Forge Lane is currently blocked as a result.

Some Stagecoach services have also been delayed.

The bus company tweeted: “Please be aware our services will be subject to heavy delays due to a police incident on North Street, Ashford.

“We will post updates when our services can resume normal service.”

A spokesperson for the air ambulance said a helicopter was dispatched with crews arriving on scene at 17:17pm.

“They worked with SECAmb and Kent Police to help treat the patient, involved in a road traffic collision,” they said.

“The patient was then taken to hospital by road.”

The emergency services have been contacted for comment.
