A South Ashford bakery was targeted by a group of 'drunken youths' in the early hours of the morning.
The raid on the Beaver Road business left a baker with an injury to his hand after a metal sign was thrown at him.
Two teenagers were arrested following the incident on Saturday morning on suspicion of affray and police took the names of the others involved.
Officers were alerted to the raid at 1.44am following reports a group of around 10 intoxicated youths, both girls and boys, were causing a disturbance in the South Ashford area.
Police say the gang targeted the bakery and reportedly threw items at the bakers who were working overnight.
One of the bakers was hit with a metal sign, which caused him a hand injury.
Two teenage boys aged 15 and 18 were arrested by officers following the incident.
A spokesman for the police said: "Kent Police was called to a disturbance in Beaver Road at 1.44am on Saturday, September 6.
"It was reported that a group of around 10 drunken youths, both male and female, were causing a disturbance and that the bakers was being targeted.
"Police arrived and took the names and details of people in the group.
"Two youths were arrested – both boys aged 15 and 18 on suspicion of affray."
The teenagers have been released on bail until Friday, October 24 while further inquiries are carried out.
