Leon Camier endured a difficult opening to his World Superbike season at Phillip Island.
A 17th and a 12th place finish wasn't the best of starts for the Ashford racer.
Camier had qualified well, sitting on the second row in Australia, but things began to unravel towards the end of the opening race.
He dropped from eighth to 17th after being nudged off the track by Davide Giugliano.
Race two saw Camier make a poor start, after being hemmed in on the first corner, which left him down to 14th.
He managed to make up two places but tyre degradation meant he was unable to make up any ground.
