Lisa Dobriskey has won her injury battle to be fit for next month’s World Athletics Championships in Berlin.
The Ashford 25-year-old has been hit by several injury problems since finishing fourth in the Beijing Olympics 1500m final last year.
But she convinced the Great Britain selectors that she deserved a world championship place by finishing third in the London Grand Prix at Crystal Palace at the weekend.
Bromley sprinter Montell Douglas has also been included in a squad of six for the women's 4x100m relay.
The 23-year-oldwill be hoping to banish her painful memories from Beijing, where she was part of the British relay team which dropped the baton in the final.
