A survivor of the London Underground bombings, who lives in Ashford, is due to go to a meeting in Westminster this morning as the Intelligence and Security Committee publishes its report into the security failings in the lead-up to the July 7 terror attacks.

Beverli Rhodes, of Nettlefield, Kennington, is attending the meeting along with other survivors and bereaved relatives.

Ms Rhodes, of the Survivors Coalition Foundation, said: "I’m hoping to find out what our security forces and certainly the intelligence services knew before the attack."

Ms Rhodes, who was living in North London at the time, was in a tube under Russell Square when suicide bombers attacked the underground. She suffered facial injuries and is still affected by post traumatic stress disorder almost four years after the incident. Ms Rhodes decided to move from London to Ashford as a result of being in the terror attack.
