A crash between a car and a lorry blocked a roundabout near the M20.

Police were called to the incident involving a white Ford Fiesta and the HGV on the Junction 10a roundabout in Ashford.

It happened at about 3.45pm and was causing tailbacks to the new four-way crossroads junction on the A2070 Bad Munsterifel Road near Orbital Park well into rush-hour.

But there have been no reported injuries.

A police spokesperson said officers were called at 3.44pm and remained at the scene to clear the road.
