A lorry and car collided earlier today on a restricted section of a motorway.

The incident, which took place at 8.37am, saw queues form as emergency services cleared the M20 between Junctions 8 and 9.

Officers attended to ensure the safety of other London-bound motorists.

No injuries were reported, and traffic soon became free-flowing again.
