A Love Island star has cancelled his appearance at a popular nightspot in Ashford, being replaced by another contestant.

Michael Griffiths, who appeared on ITV 2's hit reality series this year, has cancelled his appearance at Cameo Nightclub tomorrow due to filming commitments.

But to avoid disappointment among party-goers, nightclub bosses have arranged for Chris Taylor to fill his spot.

Writing on their Facebook page, Cameo Ashford said: "It is with regret that we announce that due to filming commitments, Love Island's Michael Griffiths will not be able to attend this Saturday.

"However, we are committed to bringing you the best entertainment each and every week and we have managed to secure Chris Taylor from this year's show instead."

Entry to the Station Road nightclub will cost £7 due to the special appearance.
