A kmfm listener has had the best start to the summer holidays after winning £1,000.
Kim Revelle, from Ashford, entered the Kent radio station's monthly £1,000 Friday competition earlier today.
Following thousands of text and online entries, one listener is chosen at random and given a surprise phone call.
Rob Wills, kmfm presenter, made the call to Kim while she was at work at the Fish Inn pub.
Kim had been listening at home before leaving for work when she decided to enter.
She told her granddaughter Ryah, 10, she had entered and asked her to send her good vibes in the hope that she would win – and then they could do things together during the summer holidays.

The very popular competition usually runs on the last day of the month but this time it was a week earlier to mark the start of the six-week holidays, with the idea that families can use the money to create summer memories.
Entries are open from Thursday at 6pm for 24 hours.
