Lydd Golf Club member Liam Harper is one of five new caps in the six-strong England squad who will contest the European Boys’ Team Championships at Klassis Golf and Country Club in Istanbul, Turkey, from July 6-10.

Harper, 17, (pictured) was a member of the England under-16 squad for the past two years. He has represented the English Golf Union in South Africa, Germany and the Netherlands, where he finished third in last year’s Dutch Junior Masters.

This year, he was joint runner-up in the Fairhaven Trophy.
