Motorists using the M20 London-bound suffered long delays this morning after two accidents.

The first accident happened between junctions 11 and 12 near Folkestone experienced lengthy delays this morning as police tried to deal with the aftermath of a car accident.

According to police, a car hit the central reservation at 7.40am, before hitting another vehicle.

The driver of the first car is thought to have suffered only minor injuries. Police are clearing debris from the road.

The second accident, involving two cars and a lorry also happened London-bound near Mersham, about two miles before junction 10 at Ashford.
