KENT Police were called to a crash on the London-bound carriageway of the M20 near Junction 9 at Ashford at lunch-time today.

The collision involved a lorry, trailer and car. There were no serious injuries but the car was in the outside lane of the carriageway and all three lanes had to be temporarily closed. Traffic was diverted off the slip road at Junction 9.

The vehicles have now been moved to the hard shoulder and the carriageway is now open.
