A woman who was trapped in her car was freed by firefighters, following a motorway smash near Folkestone this morning.
Two teams from the town's white watch attended the scene, between junctions 11 and 12 of the M20, at around 8am.
Three vehicles were involved in the smash - a Peugeot, a Ford Fiesta and an HGV - which happened on the London-bound carriage.
It is believed one of the cars hit the central reservation.
All three lanes were originally shut London-bound by police, but all have now reopened.
Fire crews worked for around half an hour to make the scene safe, using hydraulic rescue equipment to remove a door, freeing a female motorist from her vehicle.
She was later taken to the William Harvey Hospital with chest pains, while a second female motorist was treated for shock.
The driver of the HGV was uninjured.
