The A20 near Mersham has reopened after a crash.

Emergency services including firefighters were called to the scene about 3.15pm.

The incident involved two vehicles.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called to a reported two vehicle collision on the A20 in Mersham at 3.13pm on Sunday 4 June 2017.

"The South East Coast Ambulance Service were also called and treated people at the scene.

"A road closure has been enforced and officers remain at the scene conducting enquiries. The closure is likely to last several hours.

"Motorists are advised to plan ahead and consider using other routes."
