A busy route was shut for almost three hours after a three-car collision injured two people.
The crash happened on the A28 near Shalmsford Street, Chartham, at about 5.30pm yesterday.
Emergency services were at the scene, and the road was closed in both directions during the evening rush hour.
Paramedics treated two people at the scene but no serious injuries were reported.
A police spokesman added: “We were called to a report of a three-car collision on the A28 near Shalmsford Street, Chartham shortly after 5.30pm yesterday.
“The road was closed while the incident was responded to and reopened shortly before 8pm.”
A spokeswoman for the ambulance service confirmed no one suffered life-threatening injuries.
